In the second quarter of 2022, the top social networking applications in Ghana demonstrated varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how Facebook, Telegram Messenger, WhatsApp Messenger, Messenger, and Status Saver Video Photo Save performed.

Facebook from Meta Platforms, Inc. saw fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at around 187K in early May and ending the quarter at approximately 111K. Weekly revenue experienced a slight decline, with a high of about $193 in mid-April and a low of $126 in mid-June. Active users showed a steady increase, reaching over 8M by mid-June.
